Accessibility Mission Statement Norwegian Cruise Line is committed to providing inclusivity and access to world-class vacation experiences by continuously improving and applying the most updated accessibility standards to exceed our guests’ expectations. Dedicated Team of Access Coordinators Experienced travel professionals specifically trained to assist guests with disabilities and special needs are available to ensure a safe, enjoyable, and accessible cruising experience. Our Accessibility Coordinators will contact each guest after receiving their Accessibility & Medical Questionnaire. Assistance continues onboard through Access Officers who manage special needs throughout the cruise. Communication and Coordination An exclusive Access Desk team within the Reservations Department ensures that all service requests are documented and communicated to cruise staff and the Access Officers onboard. Guests are encouraged to discuss every aspect of their travel needs, including transportation, stateroom accommodations, and shore excursions, to ensure a smooth experience. Advance Notice and Preparation Requirements To accommodate special requirements effectively, guests are advised to inform the Access Desk at least 90 days for interpreters and 45 days for other needs. Providing detailed information allows Norwegian Cruise Line to prepare appropriately, ensuring that all reasonable needs are met during the cruise. In some cases, guests may need to arrange alternative travel if specific safety criteria cannot be met.
