Our past
During what is widely known as the Golden Age of cruising, many of Hollywood’s biggest names traveled the seas in style with Cunard. The likes of Cary Grant, Elizabeth Taylor, and Charlie Chaplin were among our guests. It was our unparalleled, white-gloved service, impressive ball rooms, and the chance to discover the world in sublime comfort, that kept this calibre of guests returning; the same reasons why our modern-day guests have followed suit.

Accommodations
Cunard staterooms are among the most spacious at sea, with a long list of included features, such as Penhaligon toiletries, twice-daily turndown service and sparkling wine on arrival.
Higher stateroom grades, such as our Princess and Queens Grill Suites, offer additional benefits, including priority disembarkation, concierge service and even a personal butler during your stay; all of which are covered by your cruise fare.
Dining
Each stateroom type includes breakfast, lunch and dinner at your stateroom restaurant – The Britannia, Britannia Club, Princess Grill or Queens Grill restaurants – every day of your voyage. For more options included in your cruise fare, choose the Golden Lion pub, Kings Court or the Lido buffet.

On board activities
A whole host of activities awaits you on board, and dozens of them are included in your cruise fare. Use of our library, open-air pools and gym facilities are free to all guests, and the daily program contains details of live music, theater performances and special guest speaker events, all of which are included in your fare. You can also experience deck games, board games, quizzes, use of our children's clubs and sports facilities, film screenings, illuminations shows and groups dance classes – and of course, our famous Gala Evenings. There is plenty available, so you can tailor your vacation just as you wish.
